GUIDELINES

Submissions must be sent to this email address: QueerArabArt@gmail.com.

Please include in your submission how you want to be credited for your art. See below for more details on how you would prefer to be identified (if at all). 

Please (in English) begin your email subject line with the word “SUBMISSION”. 

We accept submissions in Arabic, English, French, or any other language you express yourself in. Know that our editors will publish works “as is.” We will do our best to format works appropriately, but we do not have the capacity to edit your work. For written work, you can attach a cover image in your email to be used on your post.

PRIVACY AND SAFETY

We understand that many of us are not able to openly express our identities. We will NEVER share our contributors’ information or email addresses, unless you explicitly give us permission. 

We do not require a name for publication. We encourage the use of a pseudonym, especially if you want to submit more than one piece for consideration, but it is not required. You may also sign your art with a location, country name, social media handle, or anything you are comfortable with. You are welcome to be completely anonymous. 

AUDIO/VIDEO SUBMISSIONS

For now, we unfortunately can’t take audio or video submissions for the magazine. We hope to in the near future. Please check back! We can, however, highlight your work on our social media.
